2600 Series Air Spring | 10″ Stroke | 7″ Diameter | 600 PSI Burst Rated | 3/8″ NPT Port
The High-Lift Standard for C10s and Chevy Square Bodies: The 2600 Series is the industry standard for classic trucks that need more lift at lower pressures. We designed it specifically for the heavier front ends and “bag-on-bar” rear setups of the C10 and Square Body community. Most 2600-style bags stop short. Ours don’t. We engineered ours to go the distance with 10 inches of massive usable stroke. They compress down to 2.8″ and extend all the way to 12.5″. So this is the definitive choice for trucks that demand maximum lift and a cloud-like ride.
Why the 2600 Series is the Pro-Truck Builder’s Choice
C10 & Square Body Optimized: We engineered the 2600 specifically for the chassis layout of Chevy C10s and Square Body trucks. The 7″ diameter gives you the increased surface area needed to lift heavy truck front ends at significantly lower air pressure.
Direct Crossmember Mounting: Many classic cars require opening up a front upper frame pocket. C10s and Square Bodies are different. They feature a similar factory opening in the crossmember — and the industry-standard practice is to cap that opening with an airbag mounting plate. Our 2600 air spring features the large, flat top-surface required to bolt securely to most brackets for a professional fit.
Massive 10″ Stroke: This bag delivers a generous range of motion — from 2.8″ compressed to 12.5″ extended. That gives you the “laid-out” look at the show and the ground clearance you need for daily driving.
Control Arm Stability: Skinny long-travel bags can bow or snake under load. The 2600’s wide-body design stays stable through the full pivoting arc of a classic truck control arm — even at maximum extension.
Maximum Load Capacity: These bags carry a massive 3,055 lb max load rating at 100 PSI. So they handle big blocks and maximum payload without compromise — built for the heaviest truck builds on the road.
Pro-Installer Clearance Tips
Our air springs are built tough. But even the toughest rubber can’t win against a sharp edge or a hot exhaust pipe. Because every vintage chassis is unique, giving your bags “room to breathe” is a critical part of the install.
The Three-Stage Check: You must verify clearance at three critical stages — Fully Slammed, Normal Ride Height, and Fully Lifted. Don’t skip any stage.
Lower Arm Prep: On C10 and Square Body builds, remove the factory bump stop on the lower control arm. After removal, grind smooth any sharp edges or metal stubs left behind. These jagged edges will puncture the air spring as it expands during travel.
The Moving Clearance Rule: The bag may safely rest against the flat surface of the lower control arm when fully compressed. However, it must never rub against a sharp edge, a moving part, or a hot exhaust pipe during travel. That’s a critical distinction.
Custom Build Inspection: Cycle your suspension through its full range of motion — including full steering lock. As you do, watch for aftermarket upgrades that could contact the bag. Keep it clear of oversized sway bars, exposed cotter pins, protruding control arm bolts, and oversized brake conversions. Any contact with these components will lead to immediate abrasion failure.
