EZ AIRRIDE Sealed PSI Switch – Turns on at 165 psi Turns off at 200 psi
Precision Monitoring
Factory-set to kick on at 165 PSI and cut out at 200 PSI, this switch acts as the high-accuracy “brain” for your system, ensuring your compressors only run when needed to extend the life of your entire setup.
Chassis-Ready Seal
The rubberized exterior and sealed wire leads provide a critical moisture barrier for exterior tank mounting on trucks and classic cruisers. These integrated leads feature reverse polarity, meaning it doesn’t matter which wire goes to your ground and which goes to your relay – making the electrical “hook-up” fast, and foolproof.
Universal NPT Standard
Features 1/4″ NPT male threads for a direct, low-profile fit into your tank or manifold port. The compact design ensures it stays out of the way, whether mounted on the tank or a remote manifold.
Professional Performance
Engineered for all modern 12V/24V air ride electrical systems. For a “One-and-Done” installation that protects your wiring, we always recommend using a high-quality 40-Amp Relay.
The Maintenance Rule
Regularly purging your tank with our Electric Drain Kit prevents internal contamination and ensures the switch never sends “flicker” signals to your compressors. If your system runs sporadically, it’s often a sign of internal moisture.
The Insurance Policy
Because this is a high-cycle electronic component, keeping a spare in your glovebox is a smart move for long show hauls. Install it once with a professional sealant for a permanent, maintenance-free connection.
The “How It Works” Description:
“The Pressure Switch is designed to mount directly to your air tank, acting as the ‘brain’ that monitors exactly when your air needs to be replenished. After you release air into your springs for lift, the pressure in your tank naturally drops. When that pressure falls below 165 PSI, this switch automatically activates your compressors to refill the tank back to its designated 200 PSI shut-off point.
It is important to note that while this high-quality switch is engineered for long-lasting performance, it continuously monitors a tank environment where moisture can and will accumulate. As your pumps operate, condensation builds up inside the tank, which can directly impact the functionality of the pressure switch over time.
Pro-Maintenance Tip: To protect your system, it is vital to drain your tank periodically. If a switch becomes contaminated with moisture over time, it may send ‘mixed signals’ to your compressors—preventing them from shutting off properly at 200 PSI or causing them to run sporadically. If this occurs, we advise draining your tank completely, allowing the system to dry out, and replacing the pressure switch to restore factory precision.
